DAC (GOST 6217-74)

Granulated activated wood charcoal of the DAK (GOST 6217-74) brand is manufactured by the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" from environmentally friendly raw materials (birch wood) under the influence of steam at a temperature of 800 - 950°C with subsequent grinding. This sorbent is a porous material. It has highly developed total porosity, a wide range of pores, and a significant specific adsorption surface area. Such characteristics provide for the effective use of DAK in purifying liquid media from a wide range of impurities (from small ones, comparable to iodine molecules, to molecules of fats, oils, petroleum products, chlorinated organic compounds, and others). The main application area of this brand is the purification of steam condensate from oil and impurities, purification of boiler water, wastewater, stormwater drainage, purification of make-up, feed, and cooled water at thermal power plants and nuclear power plants, as well as for water purification and preparation of technical water.

Granulated activated wood charcoal DAK (GOST 6217-74) is transported by all types of vehicles except air, in covered transport vehicles according to the cargo transportation rules applicable to that type of transport. Granulated activated wood charcoal is stored in the manufacturer's packaging in clean and closed warehouses, protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Transportation and storage of granulated activated wood charcoal together with products that emit vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed.

Packaging: multi-layer paper bags of 10 kg each.

How to arrange delivery:
We will select an economical delivery option and coordinate it with you. We will fill out the application to the transport company for pickup of the activated carbon from our production facility and handle the shipment. You pay for the delivery cost upon receiving the goods in your city.
Transportation and forwarding costs are not included in the product price and are paid by the buyer upon receiving the goods. The delivery cost (i.e., service fee) depends solely on the distance to your region, the chosen delivery method, and the volume of goods ordered.
Please note that the Seller cannot regulate the cost of transportation and forwarding expenses. The final delivery price is determined by the carrier you choose.

What is required to arrange delivery:
Inform us of the city where the activated carbon needs to be delivered. If delivery is required not to the terminal of the transport company but directly to an address - provide the full address, contact person (full name), contact phone number, email address. For legal entities - provide the company's map.

Which transport company will handle the delivery:
Delivery can be made by any transport company you are accustomed to working with (e.g., Delovye Linii, PEC, Baikal Service, Energiya, Russian Post, CDEK, etc.). For volumes over 1 ton, consolidated cargo shipping is possible.
When delivering via Russian Post as cash on delivery, payment is made via a postal money order at a Russian Post office (a commission is charged by the post office, and identification is required for payment).

Which transport company offers more economical delivery:
We calculate the delivery cost individually for each case and offer the most economical and fastest delivery options. For volumes over 1 ton, consolidated cargo shipping with our transport is more economical. For orders of less than 20 kg of activated carbon, courier services such as SDEK, TK Energiya, or Russian Post are more economical - we deliver orders to terminals in Perm free of charge, and you only pay for transportation from Perm to the terminal in your city.

How will the activated carbon be packaged:
- Retail orders of 0.5 kg, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, and 2 kg are packed in corresponding ZIP-bags (description in the product card - dense black metallized polyethylene, additionally sealed with a colored label or transparent polyethylene bag with a black-and-white label) and additionally packed in boxes to preserve the fraction;
- Retail orders of 5 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg, and 15 kg are packed according to GOST standards in multi-layer paper bags with a laminated layer. All paper bags feature the logo of the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" and a label indicating the batch number, manufacturing date, weight, and brand of activated carbon. Additional packaging includes a strong black polyethylene bag;
- All wholesale orders from 0.1 tons to 90 tons are shipped either on pallets or without pallets based on the customer’s preference and are packed according to GOST standards in multi-layer paper bags with a laminated layer. All paper bags feature the logo of the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" and a label indicating the batch number, manufacturing date, weight, and brand of activated carbon. Some powdered activated carbon brands are packed in BIG-BAGS and polypropylene bags on pallets. More details:
Standard packaging for activated carbon produced by the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" consists of multi-layer laminated paper bags, while powdered activated carbon and coal dust can also be packed in paper bags, big bags, or polypropylene bags.
Separate packaging in geotextile: Activated carbon is packaged in geotextile (geotextile fabric) for convenient use. The carbon is packed in special bags with water-permeable properties. There is no need to pour the sorbent out of the bag; this is a ready-made solution for easy loading and quick unloading after use. Such packaging significantly reduces the time needed to replace the sorbent, prevents fine fractions from dispersing during loading, is environmentally friendly, and is convenient for disposing of spent activated carbon. The sorbent is loaded into a container in the geotextile bag and unloaded after use still in the bag.

Geotextile packaging for 5 kg of product (activated carbon). If necessary, bags can be custom-made, and activated carbon can be packaged according to the Customer's specifications. Before shipping small wholesale orders of up to 300 kg, all geotextile bags with activated carbon are additionally packed in transportation polyethylene bags. The transportation polyethylene bag must be removed before use. For shipments exceeding 300 kg - palletized delivery without additional packaging in transportation bags.

When will my coal be shipped:
- For wholesale buyers, shipments are daily on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 (Friday until 16:30);
- For private individuals, shipments are every Tuesday and Thursday on weekdays;
- For self-pickup by private individuals, activated carbon is shipped daily on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00.

Pickup is available on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 (lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00). All pickup orders are issued the next business day after payment starting at 14:00 or on the same day by prior arrangement. To receive an order paid for in the online store, you must have the order number and a passport (or another confirming document). The order must be picked up within a week. Payment for activated carbon can be made in the office via cash or non-cash payment through the website;

Sample Delivery: 
Samples of active carbons up to 1 kg are provided free of charge to legal entities. Only the delivery cost of the sample is payable. To send a free sample, a request must be sent on the company’s official letterhead, signed by the Manager, and indicating the type of activity for which our product is needed.

If the carrier damaged the packaging:
If package damage is detected upon receiving the goods at the transport company’s warehouse, a claim must be filed immediately on-site before taking possession of the goods. The freight carrier guarantees the integrity of the packaging and assumes responsibility for the goods during transportation. After taking possession of the goods without filing a claim for damaged packaging, neither the Carrier nor the Shipper bears any responsibility.  

How to assess quality:
If you cannot check the quality of our product in a laboratory - use our instructions: "HOW TO DETERMINE WITHOUT A LABORATORY WHETHER IT IS ACTIVATED CARBON OR NON-ACTIVATED CARBON". After delivery of your order, you will receive a message asking you to evaluate the quality of our service. Please rate our work and indicate any possible remarks. Important:
Activated carbon is transported by all types of vehicles except air, in covered transport vehicles according to the cargo transportation rules applicable to that type of transport. The product is stored in the manufacturer's packaging in clean and closed warehouses, protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Packaged activated carbon DAC is stacked on pallets up to a maximum height of 8 units. Transportation and storage of sorbents together with products that emit vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed.
During transportation, an increase in the mass fraction of particles less than 1 mm in size is allowed for every 100 km of travel by no more than 0.1%.
