BAU-A (GOST 6217-74) for drinking water, pharmaceuticals industry, food production, alcoholic beverage industry

Active (activated) crushed carbon BAU-A (GOST 6217-74) is made by UralHimSorb Perm Adsorbent Plant from environmentally friendly raw materials (birchwood) by exposure to water vapor at a temperature of 800—950°C followed by size reduction. It has a highly developed total porosity, a wide range of pores and a significant value of specific absorption surface. Such characteristics make it possible to use BAU-A effectively to purify liquid media from a wide range of impurities (from small ones commensurate with iodine molecules to molecules of fats, oils, petroleum products, organochlorine compounds, etc.). Main applications: purification of alcoholic beverages (purification of vodka, moonshine, brandy, cognac), low-alcohol and carbonated beverages, production of beer, wine, purification of drinking water, food, filling of small filters and final filters. In most regulations and projects, BAU-A as per GOST can be introduced for use in the purification of process water. As a rule, this is necessary for high water contamination at the inlet of filtration plants and strict requirements at the outlet. These include boiler water treatment, wastewater treatment, stormwater runoff treatment, industrial effluent treatment at chemical plants, wastewater treatment in river and sea ports, airports, parking spaces.

Active crushed carbon BAU-A (GOST 6217-74) is transported by any mode of transport, except by air, in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of transportation of goods for this mode of transport. Active crushed carbon is stored in the manufacturer's packaging at clean and covered warehouses, protected from groundwater and precipitation. Transportation and storage of active crushed carbon with products that release vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed.

BAU-A packaging: multilayer paper bags of 10 kg, paper bags of 5 kg, metallized zip-lock bags (extra sealed pack) of 500 g

Recommended applications:

- Purification of liqueurs and spirits (vodka, alcohol, moonshine), low-alcohol and carbonated drinks;

- Beer, brandy and wine production;

- Drinking water, food product purification;

- Filling of small filters and final filters;

Activated carbon packing:

- All wholesale orders from 0.1 ton to 90 tons are shipped at the request of the Customer on or without pallets and packed as per GOST in multilayer paper bags with a laminated layer. All paper bags are provided with the markings of UralHimSorb Perm Adsorbent Plant and a label indicating the batch number, date of manufacture, weight and grade of activated carbon. Some grades of powdered activated carbon are packed in big bags and flecon bags on pallets.

Shipment time:

- for wholesale customers, the goods are shipped on business days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Friday to 4:30 p.m.);

How to find out that the order is accepted and will be delivered:

Sample delivery:

Samples of activated carbon up to 1 kg are provided to legal entities free of charge. Only delivery of the samples shall be paid. For a free sample, please send a request on your company's letterhead signed by the CEO specifying the type of activity our products are needed for.

In case of packaging damaged by the carrier:

In case of damage to the packaging detected upon pick up of the Goods at the warehouse of the carrier company, please immediately file a claim before picking up the Goods. The carrier shall guarantee the package integrity and be liable for the Goods during transportation. After picking up the Goods without a claim for damage to packing, neither the Carrier nor the Shipper shall be liable.

If you cannot check the quality of our product in a laboratory, use our instructions: "HOW TO DETERMINE WITHOUT A LABORATORY, WHETHER CARBON IS ACTIVATED OR NON-ACTIVATED." Important:

Activated carbon is transported by any mode of transport, except by air, in covered vehicles in accordance with the rules of transportation of goods for this mode of transport. The Goods shall be stored in the manufacturer's packaging at clean and covered warehouses, protected from groundwater and precipitation. Packed activated carbon BAU-A shall be stored on pallets in stacks with a height of no more than 8 pcs. Transportation and storage of sorbents with products that release vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed.

During transportation, an increase in the mass fraction of 1 mm particles by no more than 0.1% for every 100 km is acceptable.
