BAU-LV (TU 2162-003-38903868-2017)

Crushed activated (activated) wood charcoal of the brand BAU-LV (TU 2162-003-38903868-2017) for LVB is manufactured by the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" from environmentally friendly raw materials (birch wood) under the influence of steam at a temperature of 800 - 950°C, followed by crushing and additional sieving (residue on the sieve - no more than 1%). This sorbent is a porous material. It has highly developed total porosity, a wide range of pores, and a significant specific absorption surface area. Such characteristics allow for the effective use of BAU-LV for purifying alcoholic beverages (vodka, spirits, moonshine), and it is recommended for use in the production of cognac products, beer, and wine clarification.

The Perm Sorbents Plant UralChemSorb recommends storing and transporting as follows: Crushed activated wood charcoal BAU-LV is transported by all types of transport except air, in covered vehicles in accordance with cargo transportation rules applicable to this type of transport. Crushed activated wood charcoal is stored in the manufacturer's packaging in clean and closed warehouses, protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Transporting and storing crushed activated wood charcoal together with products that emit vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed. 

Packaging:
- Multi-layer paper bags of 10 kg;
- Multi-layer paper bags of 5 kg;
- Metallized bags with ZIP-lock (additionally sealed bag) of 500 g, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, 2 kg;
- Plastic canisters (bottles) with a volume of 1 liter with a sturdy lid and convenient dispenser.
For orders over 100 kg, delivery is made in paper bags on pallets. The maximum capacity of one pallet is 30-33 bags (300-330 kg).

Recommended areas of application:

- Purification of alcoholic beverages (spirits, vodka, moonshine);
- Purification of low-alcohol and carbonated beverages;
- For purifying drinking water;
- In the production of cognac products, beer.

For customers of the online store with orders from 0.5 kg to 20 kg, delivery to terminals in Perm for companies like SDEK and Russian Post is FREE. The buyer only pays for transportation between terminals.

How to arrange delivery:
We will select an economical delivery option and coordinate it with you. We will fill out the application to the transport company for picking up the activated carbon from our production facility and carry out the shipment. You pay for the delivery cost when you receive the goods in your city.
Transportation and forwarding costs are not included in the product price and are paid by the Buyer upon receipt of the Goods. The delivery cost (i.e., service fee) depends solely on the distance to your region, the selected delivery method, and the volume of goods ordered.
Please note that the Seller cannot regulate transportation and forwarding costs. The final delivery price is determined by the carrier you choose.

What is required to arrange delivery:
Let us know the city where the activated carbon needs to be delivered. If delivery is required not to the terminal of the transport company but directly to an address, provide the full address, contact person (full name), phone number, and email address. For legal entities, provide the company's details.

Which transport company will handle the delivery:
Delivery can be arranged through any transport company you are accustomed to working with (e.g., Delovye Linii, PEC, Baikal Service, Energiya, Russian Post, CDEK, etc.). For volumes over 1 ton, consolidated cargo delivery is possible.
If delivery is made via Russian Post as cash on delivery, payment is made via a money transfer at a Russian Post office (a commission is charged by the post office, and identification is required for payment).

Which transport company offers more economical delivery:
We calculate the delivery cost individually for each case and offer the most economical and fastest delivery options. For orders over 1 ton, consolidated cargo delivery using our transport is more cost-effective. For orders of activated carbon under 20 kg, courier services like SDEK, TK Energiya, or Russian Post are more economical – we deliver the order to terminals in Perm for free, and you only pay for transportation from Perm to the terminal in your city.
For deliveries via Russian Post as cash on delivery, payment is made via a money transfer at a Russian Post office (a commission is charged by the post office, and identification is required for payment).

How the activated carbon will be packaged:
- Retail orders of 0.5 kg, 1 kg, 1.5 kg, and 2 kg are packaged in corresponding ZIP bags (description in the product card – thick metallized black polyethylene, additionally sealed with a color label, or transparent polyethylene bags with a black-and-white label) and additionally packed in boxes to preserve the fraction;
- Retail orders of 5 kg, 10 kg, 12 kg, and 15 kg are packaged according to GOST standards in multi-layer paper bags with a laminated layer. All paper bags feature the logo of the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" and a label indicating the batch number, production date, weight, and grade of the activated carbon. Additional packaging includes a sturdy black polyethylene bag;
- All wholesale orders from 0.1 tons to 90 tons are shipped either on pallets or without pallets, according to the Buyer’s preference, and are packaged according to GOST standards in multi-layer paper bags with a laminated layer. All paper bags feature the logo of the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" and a label indicating the batch number, production date, weight, and grade of the activated carbon. Some powdered activated carbon grades are packaged in BIG-BAGS or polypropylene bags on pallets. More details:
Standard packaging for activated carbon produced by the Perm Sorbents Plant "UralChemSorb" consists of multi-layer laminated paper bags. For powdered activated carbon and coal dust, packaging in paper bags, BIG-BAGS, or polypropylene bags is possible.
Separate packaging in geotextile: Activated carbon is packaged in geotextile (geotextile fabric) for convenient use. The carbon is packed in special bags with water-permeable properties. There is no need to pour out the sorbent from the bag – this is a ready-to-use solution for comfortable loading and quick unloading after use. Such packaging significantly reduces the time required for sorbent replacement, prevents fine fractions from dispersing during loading, is environmentally friendly, and convenient for disposing of spent activated carbon. The sorbent is loaded into the container in a geotextile bag and unloaded after use, also in the bag.

Packaging in geotextile bags containing 5 kg of product (activated carbon). If necessary, custom bags can be manufactured and the activated carbon packaged according to the Customer’s parameters. Before shipping small wholesale orders of up to 300 kg, all geotextile bags with activated carbon are additionally packaged in transportation polyethylene bags. The transportation polyethylene bag must be removed before use. For shipments of batches exceeding 300 kg, delivery is on pallets without additional packaging in transportation bags.

When will my activated carbon be shipped?
- For wholesale customers, shipments are daily on weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 (until 16:30 on Fridays);
- For private individuals, shipments are on Tuesdays and Thursdays;
- For self-pickup by private individuals, activated carbon is shipped daily on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00.

How do I know if my order has been processed and will be delivered?:

Self-pickup is available on weekdays from Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00 (lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00). All self-pickup orders are issued the next business day after payment starting from 14:00 or on the same day by prior arrangement. To collect an order paid for in the online store, you must have the order number and a valid ID (or other confirming document). The order must be collected within a week. Payment for activated carbon can be made in cash at the office or via online payment through the website;

Sample delivery:
Samples of activated carbons up to 1 kg are provided free of charge to legal entities. Only the delivery cost of the sample is subject to payment. To send a free sample, a request must be sent on the company's official letterhead, signed by the Director, and include the type of activity for which our product is needed.

If the carrier damages the packaging:
If packaging damage is detected upon receiving the Goods at the transport company's warehouse, a claim must be filed immediately on-site before taking possession of the Goods. The carrier guarantees the integrity of the packaging and assumes responsibility for the Goods during transportation. After taking possession of the Goods without filing a claim for damaged packaging, neither the Carrier nor the Consignor bears any responsibility.

Activated carbon is transported by all types of vehicles except air, in covered transport in accordance with the cargo transportation rules applicable to the specific mode of transport. The product is stored in the manufacturer's packaging in clean and closed warehouses, protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Packaged activated carbon CarboClean 6x12 is stacked on pallets up to a height of 8 units. Transportation and storage of sorbents together with products emitting vapors or gases into the atmosphere is not allowed.
