Since 2003, UralHimSorb has been developing and producing wood‑based activated carbons, and today we also offer the innovative sorbent lines CarboClean and CarboSOIL, sorbent solutions in geotextiles, and convenient formats for domestic use.

Our classic flagship products are wood‑based activated carbons of the BAU‑A, BAU‑MF, DAC and other grades, manufactured in accordance with GOST 6217‑74 and widely used at distilleries and food enterprises, in drinking water treatment systems and in the production of soft drinks.

Today we focus on the new CarboClean grades, developed using the modern SorbTech steam activation technology – a unique technological platform that allows us to form a highly developed microporous structure and achieve high sorption capacity without chemical reagents. The CarboClean line includes crushed and powdered birch activated carbons of key fractions: CarboClean 6×12, CarboClean 3×6, CarboClean 12×40, CarboClean 3×6 and other specialized grades designed for water treatment, sorption of organics and petroleum products, as well as for polishing treatment of wastewater and stormwater. Based on these sorbents we create geotextile solutions – bags and booms filled with activated carbon for stormwater manholes, water bodies and industrial ponds, as well as pre‑packed products and sachets for household filters and local water purification.

A separate area of our work is the new CarboSOIL line, intended for soil and agro‑environmental applications. CarboSOIL sorbents help improve soil structure and water‑holding capacity, reduce the content of toxic substances and petroleum products, and support the stability of agro‑landscapes and sites with technogenic load. They complement our classical solutions for agro‑complexes and livestock farms and make it possible to select precise compositions for specific operating conditions.

UralHimSorb products are supplied to 11 countries worldwide, which confirms the competitiveness of our technologies and the quality of our sorbents on the international market. Our Customers include distilleries and brandy producers, breweries and wineries, manufacturers of water treatment equipment and systems, chemical and petrochemical companies, power industry enterprises, agricultural producers and many other sectors. We continuously develop the CarboClean and CarboSOIL lines, geotextile‑based solutions and our range of pre‑packed products so that you can choose not just carbon, but the optimal sorption solution for your specific task – from a large industrial facility to a small private house or summer cottage.

An important part of our work is cooperation with specialized research centers, industry institutes and academies of sciences. Such partnerships allow us to carry out in‑depth studies of sorption materials, test new activated carbon grades in real technological schemes and confirm their performance through independent laboratory tests. Thanks to this scientific collaboration, the CarboClean and CarboSOIL lines keep evolving and our solutions remain relevant for modern challenges.
