Activated decolorizing wood charcoal, powdered OU-V (GOST 4453-74), is manufactured by the Perm Sorbent Plant "URALCHEMSORB" from ecologically clean raw materials — birch wood — using steam activation at temperatures of 800–950°C followed by grinding. Activated carbon OU-V is a fine-dispersed porous material primarily composed of carbon. It features developed overall porosity, a wide pore size range, and significant specific adsorption surface area. This activated carbon is recommended for purification and clarification of various solutions in the food industry, clarification of food oils and fats, organic acids, carbon black production, manufacturing of mineral oils and paint/varnish products, flotation of mineral ores, purification of starch and glucose solutions, production of citric and lactic acids, decolorization of sugar syrups and xylitol, and caramel production.
Powdered activated wood charcoal OU-V (GOST 4453-74) is transported by all types of transport except air, in covered vehicles, in accordance with applicable freight regulations for each transport type. Powdered activated wood charcoal is stored in the manufacturer's original packaging in clean, enclosed warehouses protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Transportation and storage alongside products emitting vapors or gases into the atmosphere are strictly prohibited.
