Activated decolorizing wood charcoal, powdered CARBOCLEAN-SUN-V (TU 20.59.54-006-38903868-2020), is manufactured by the Perm Sorbent Plant "URALCHEMSORB" from ecologically clean raw materials—birch wood—using steam activation at temperatures of 800-950°C followed by grinding. Activated carbon CARBOCLEAN-SUN-V is a fine-dispersed porous material primarily composed of carbon. It features developed overall porosity, a wide pore size range, and significant specific adsorption surface area. This sorbent can be used as an additive in cosmetics, for purification and decolorization of various solutions in the food industry, clarification of food oils and fats, organic acids, carbon black, mineral oil production, paint and varnish manufacturing, ore flotation, purification of starch and glucose solutions, production of citric, lactic, and other acids, decolorization of sugar syrups and xylitol, and caramel production.
Activated wood charcoal CARBOCLEAN-SUN-V is transported by all types of transport except air, in covered vehicles, in accordance with applicable freight regulations for each transport type. Powdered activated wood charcoal must be stored in the manufacturer's original packaging in clean, enclosed warehouses protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Transportation and storage alongside products emitting vapors or gases into the atmosphere are strictly prohibited.
