For convenient use, the activated carbon is packaged in special geotextile bags (also known as "bales") with water-permeable properties. There is no need to pour the sorbent out of the bag — this is a ready-to-use solution for comfortable loading and quick unloading after use. This type of packaging significantly reduces time during sorbent replacement, prevents dusting during loading, is environmentally safe during operation, and convenient for disposal of spent activated carbon. The sorbent is loaded into the vessel directly in the geotextile bag and removed after use in the same bag.
Standard packaging at the factory is 5 kg per bag (activated carbon). If required, bags and packaging can be customized according to the Customer's specifications. Prior to shipment of small batches up to 300 kg, all geotextile bags with activated carbon are additionally packed in transport polyethylene bags. The transport polyethylene bag must be removed before use. Shipments of batches over 300 kg are delivered on pallets without additional packaging in transport bags.
Crushed wood-based activated charcoal CARBOCLEAN-BAU (TU 20.59.54-007-38903868-2022), produced by the Perm Sorbent Plant "URALCHEMSORB" from ecologically clean raw materials (birch wood), is manufactured using steam activation at temperatures of 800–950°C followed by crushing. This sorbent is a porous material with highly developed total porosity, a wide pore size range, and significant specific adsorption surface area.
CARBOCLEAN-BAU was developed by Perm Sorbent Plant "URALCHEMSORB" for water treatment and purification applications based on customer requirements. The main development goals were to provide a more cost-effective alternative to BAU-A GOST 6217-74 while maintaining high activity for efficient polishing of technical water. The characteristics of this activated carbon allow for effective use of CARBOCLEAN-BAU in the purification of liquid media from a broad spectrum of impurities — ranging from small molecules comparable to iodine to larger molecules such as fats, oils, petroleum products, and chlorinated organic compounds.
This carbon is currently used across various industries: in the production of pet litter, purification of return steam condensate from oil and other impurities at thermal power plants, wastewater treatment, boiler water purification, stormwater runoff treatment, makeup and cooling water treatment at thermal power stations, yeast production, odor removal, and more.
Crushed activated wood charcoal CARBOCLEAN-BAU (TU 20.59.54-007-38903868-2022) is transported by all types of transport except air, in covered vehicles, in accordance with applicable freight regulations for each transport type. Crushed activated wood charcoal is stored in the manufacturer’s original packaging in clean, enclosed warehouses protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Transportation and storage alongside products emitting vapors or gases into the atmosphere are strictly prohibited.

How to Arrange Delivery:
We will select an economical delivery option and agree it with you. We will complete the shipping request with the transport company to collect the activated carbon from our facility and organize the shipment. You pay the delivery cost upon receiving the goods in your city.
Transportation and forwarding costs are not included in the product price and are paid by the Buyer upon receipt of the goods. The delivery cost (i.e., service fee) depends solely on the remoteness of your region, your chosen delivery method, and the volume of ordered products.
Please note that the Seller has no control over transportation and forwarding costs. The final delivery price is set by your selected carrier.
What Information Is Required for Delivery Arrangement:
Let us know the city where the activated carbon needs to be delivered. If door-to-door delivery is required instead of terminal pickup, please provide the full address, contact person (full name), phone number, and email address. For legal entities — a company profile.
Which Transport Company Will Be Used for Delivery:
Delivery can be arranged through any transport company you regularly use (e.g., Delovye Liny, PEC, Baikal Service, Energiya, Russian Post, CDEK, etc.). Orders exceeding 1 ton may be shipped as consolidated cargo.
Which Carrier Offers the Most Economical Delivery:
We calculate the delivery cost individually in each case and offer the most economical and fastest options. For orders exceeding one ton, it is more cost-effective to ship as consolidated cargo using our own transport.

How Will the Activated Carbon Be Packaged:
Standard Packaging: Activated carbon produced by Perm Sorbent Plant "URALCHEMSORB" comes in multi-layer laminated paper bags. Powdered activated carbon and charcoal dust can also be packed in paper bags, big bags, or polypropylene bags.
Special Geotextile Packaging: Activated carbon in geotextile (geofabric) is packaged for convenient use. The carbon is placed in special water-permeable bags. There is no need to pour the sorbent out of the bag — this is a ready-to-use solution for comfortable loading and quick unloading after use. This type of packaging significantly reduces time during sorbent replacement, prevents dusting during loading, is environmentally safe during operation, and convenient for disposal of spent activated carbon. The sorbent is loaded into the vessel directly in the geotextile bag and removed after use in the same bag.
Geotextile packaging contains 5 kg of product (activated carbon). Upon request, bags and packaging can be customized according to the Customer's specifications. Sample Delivery:
Free samples of activated carbon (up to 1 kg) are available to legal entities. Only the delivery cost is charged. To receive a free sample, please submit a request on your company letterhead, signed by the Director, specifying the industry in which you plan to use our product.
What to Do If the Carrier Damages the Packaging:
If damaged packaging is discovered upon receiving the goods at the carrier’s warehouse, file a claim immediately at the site before accepting the goods. The carrier guarantees packaging integrity and assumes responsibility for the goods during transit. Once the goods are accepted without filing a claim, neither the carrier nor the shipper accepts liability.

Important:
Activated carbon is transported by all types of transport except air, in covered vehicles, in accordance with applicable freight regulations. The product should be stored in its original manufacturer packaging in clean, enclosed warehouses protected from groundwater and atmospheric precipitation. Packaged activated carbon CARBOCLEAN-BAU is stored on pallets stacked no higher than 8 units. Storage and transportation together with products emitting vapors or gases into the atmosphere are strictly prohibited.
During transportation, the mass fraction of particles smaller than 1 mm may increase by no more than 0.1% per 100 km of travel.
